Port McNeill, British Columbia

August 19, 2008 Day 89

We woke this morning in Port McNeill with calm seas… finished the laundry and back to the boat in time to miss the storm front moving through.

We are now experiencing 20-35 knots winds inside the Port McNeill marina and it feels like we are out in the seas. Dramamine or wrist band required if you have a tendency to get sea sick. It will be okay for John and I but not for some.. Forecast is up to 55 knot winds outside and glad we are not there. The storm is also forecasted to continue for the next 3 days…

We are sipping scotch and listening to Jimmy Buffet on the satellite radio which has also turned out to be a great Christmas present for John last Christmas….

Don and Diane also finished their laundry and errands today and we visited with them for awhile but they went back to Saoirse to be with Chrystal during this storm.

Just wanted to let you all know we are safe and sound in Port McNeill during this storm.

We are wondering how our cruising buddies are doing out there. Helen Marie, Code Blue, Dodges and Miners. Let us know how you are doing.... Hope you are safe and sound....
