Kynoch Inlet – Beautiful Waterfalls

August 15 Day 85

We woke up with the return of the early morning fog. We lifted anchor around 10:30am. We followed the fog as it lifted in front of us to Kynoch Inlet to see more waterfalls and photo ops. Another beautiful blue sky calm day on the water.

Don and Diane announced that there was another waterfall a mile or so down Kynoch Inlet and wanted to take a look and away we both went. Note to ourselves to return and visit Culpepper Lagoon next time. Such a gorgeous day….We took more pictures and then we rafted up to Saoirse around 1pm for a delightful picnic in front of the waterfalls just floating. We had soup and crackers with Oreos for dessert. We relaxed in the sun for a while and then continued on our way to Rescue Bay. Again, we spotted Tenacious in Rescue Bay and we said hi and continued to our anchorage at 6pm. What a wonderful day. Yes, we enjoyed baked halibut and continue to try new recipes from our cookbooks and Diane made a delicious salad aboard the Omega. We toasted another beautiful day!!
