Changing Plans

The evening of June 8 in Garden Bay, Pender Harbour, Don revealed to us that his heart symptoms were occurring more frequently than they had in the past.  We persuaded him to call his Dr, which he did. For the safety of Don and Diane and the Dr.'s recommendation, we returned to Nanaimo, BC to have him checked over at the hospital.  We ended up escorting Saoirse with Don & Diane aboard,  to their marina in Hood Canal, Pleasant Harbor and arrived 6/14.  We were all a little disappointed about cancelling the trip especially Don because he also knew how much it meant to his wife, Diane,  but we told him future trips can be planned and carried out but his health is much more important than any trip.

Omega and crew returned from Pleasant Harbor, via Kingston Marina, Everett Marina.  Our friends Steve & Christle joined us for drinks aboard Omega when we were in Everett.  Nice to see them and catch up.  The next day we continued North to our Homeport.
We clean Omega, & drove home to do laundry and decide what we were going to do next.

We returned to Omega and slipped lines on June 24th to head North.  Destination unknown.  Follow the pointy end until we decide where to go.
