We are back on the water - 2010 Cruising on the Omega

After a wonderful visit from our son David and his fiance Debi to our home and then a cruise on the Omega to British Columbia, Canada, a Family Reunion/60th Birthday celebration for Daleen in Wichita and then a week later we had yet another Block party/Birthday party in Mill Creek. What a great celebration with family, friends and wonderful neighbors. We were then ready to make the Omega ready for another adventure with our boating friends and time to relax and remember what wonderful family and friends we have.

We slipped lines and left our marina at 11:05 am June 30. It was sunny and a light breeze and a beautiful day in the San Juan Islands, Wa. We

decided to only travel an hour and found a space on the dock at James Island... Just Beautiful!! Remember Allen, Diane, Ella & Reed, This is where we had a campfire and roasted hotdogs and

marshmallows together. We actually found room on the other side of the island on the dock. It has been beautiful.

We are going to spend the 4th of July in the San Juan Islands, WA with our FBYC friends, hopefully meet up with Mike & Nere Oswald on their boat Freya somewhere around Lopez Island, meet up with Don & Diane and then slowl y work our way into British Columbia for more adventures.
