Cruising Couple Adventures with John and Daleen: July 26

After leaving Chattanooga, which was very nice RV park, we arrived at Philip and Cathy’s home in Tennessee.

When we arrived in Winchester, TN, Erica, their daughter, greeted us and we spent a wonderful afternoon with her. Philip and Cathy were returning the next day from their beach house on St George Island, Florida with the Grandkids Henry and Avery. Dylan was also with them but was dropped off at his parents home in Florida. Erica had encouraged us to arrive a little early so she would have us to herself. lol Brian and Erica took us out to a lovely restaurant High Point in Monteagle for dinner with delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and great company. It was a delightful and relaxing evening. Along the way they took us through a beautiful area with gorgeous stone buildings which is now a private university, The University of the South. We looked down over the valley with a spectacular view. Very nice evening.

Erica Avery Henry

We always have a wonderful time with Philip and Cathy, actually the entire Stich family, whenever we get together, weddings, family reunions, etc. They live on a lake in Winchester, TN, We stayed with them for the better part of 5 days. They took us for multiply pontoon boat rides, stopping at their favorite spot to jump in the lake to cool off and relax just for fun. Then off we would go again exploring the lake/river and when we returned to their dock, we would sometimes jump in the lake again to cool off or again just for fun. One evening when the sun was setting, Cathy and I were talking about how they love to go soak in the lake and watch the sun go down. We decided if we didn’t do it now, it would be too late, So off we went the guys following behind us. I understood why this was on of the favorite things they enjoy doing at sunset. It was beautiful and relaxing.
