We arrived in Pittsburgh, PA around 2pm. Very funny story, after the fact. Our GPS routed us to Moeza and her families home all around the narrow roads and hills in circles of Pittsburgh pulling our 20 foot trailer. We were glad to get extra driving directions from Moeza & Abu.We were glad to finally make it on much wider streets. It was great to get local knowledge of the streets but we have to say after the fact, it was very interesting to see the beautiful areas overlooking Pittsburg. LOL
We were so excited to see JoAnn and her home. Moeza and Abu saved us parking places to keep our trailer and truck in front of their home. Very nice of them to move their cars to make room for us. After hearing wonderful stories and pictures of JoAnn's granddaughter Zoyah and her Momma Moeza and her family Bushra and Abu, it was so nice to meet them and we had a wonderful visit. We loved playing with Zoyah and watching JoAnn interact with her precious Granddaughter. She is a sweetheart and so cute.
JoAnn took us out for lunch at a delicious spot in her neighborhood.
We were invited to go to their Mosque with a dinner for approx 60 that Bushra & Moeza had been planning and cooking for a few days. It was a delicious meal and nice to meet and visit with family and friends of Moeza, Abu and Bushra.We were excited and sad the next day to say Goodbye for now to continue our travels. Moeza gave us a huge basket of snacks for our travels. How sweet!! We so enjoyed our visit and hope to return one day to stay a little longer.
With JoAnn all packed up we said our thank you's and goodbyes.
Our next destination was Maugansville Maryland. A town named after my Dad's family Maugans.
