2014 February in Mill Creek

What a long dry spell for this blog.  It has been a very dry winter for us.  Finally the Snoqualmie Summit opened in January and John is currently on the mountain enjoying a weekend of Ski Patrol and fresh air.

Due to John & I both having back surgery in 2013, we were only on the Omega for approx 6 weeks last summer.  We enjoyed a visit from Allen, Diane, Ella, Reed & Troy in July/Aug timeframe & from many friends stopping by checking on us & many phone calls from family. 

John actually finished his Ski Patrol duties on Snoqualmie Summit before his back surgery last March. Not much keeps him down.... We are both feeling great & amp; looking forward to a wonderful active year at our home in Mill Creek, in the mountains, in Anacortes and on the Omega cruising in the San Juans, Gulf Islands & further north.  

We are so excited that our Grandkids, Hannah, Garrett are joining us for a couple weeks in June and Ella & Reed are ready for another couple weeks in July/Aug. What fun we will have!!

We enjoyed a few weeks in Arizona and New Mexico the end of April first of May.  It was a family reunion while also attending Greg and Rosanne Jorgensen's wedding in Arizona and visiting Steve & Margaret in New Mexico .
