On the road again but this time by van..... Oct 9, 2008

We arrived home after 4 months on the Omega and after being home for a short 2 weeks and much thought we decided to make "THE ROADTRIP". Seeing family won out!!

We finally were able to visit with Lynn and Penny Andrews in Bozeman Montana. Lynn was Daleen's lead at Boeing in the early 1990's and they retired to Montana around 5 years ago, so it was nice to finally see their new home and spend a wonderful evening. We woke up to a beautiful snowfall but since we were driving, it was nice to get out of it the next afternoon after getting into warmer temp's in South Dakota. The early cold front was moving across Idaho, Montana into South Dakata.
The snow was beautiful!!

Oct 13th we arrived at Columbus Ohio to visit with John's sister Peggy and her son Steve and his wife Cricket. It was nice to see them again...

Oct 17th brought us to Winchester Tennessee to spend time with Philip and Cathy Stich, our niece and nephew. Their daughter Erica was home on vacation and it was awesome to spend time with them and see their new home after returning to Tennessee from a 5 year stay in California.

We continued our roadtrip on Monday Oct 20th to another niece and newphew's home, John, Becky Erin and Tanner. It has been too long since we have traveled to their homes and it was great to spend quality time with them. they also have a beautiful home...

Oct 22 we spent a week at Disney World in Orlando, Florida with Allen, Diane, Ella, Reed, Diane's parents Tony and Mary and her brother Richard and his family Amie and Charlie. It was Tony and Mary's Anniversary!!

It was magical and many stories of fun will be remembered forever...

We also visited with John Jr and our grandson Patrick in Mississippi.

We were able to spend some great time with Daleen's sister JoAnn in Houston Texas. It was so special to spend time with her...

Before heading to Kansas we spent a day visiting our grandson Joshua. It was so nice to spend time with him...

We spent more time with Daleen's brothers and sister in Wichita and with Joe, Teresa, Hannah and Garrett and also saw Allen and family again in Lawrence, Ks

We are so glad we spent this time seeing the USA and visiting with family and friends. We live in such a gorgeous country, sometimes we just get so busy and don't get a chance to see it. It has been so worthwhile.

Before we headed home, we stopped in southern Washington state to visit with Don & Diane, the couple who traveled to Alaska with us. It was nice to see them again.

We are now anxious to travel home and be home for a while. Thank you again for traveling along with us..

The fuel prices have continued to get lower as the days go by. We continue to have beautiful weather, seeing gorgeous country and most of all, being able to spend quality time with our family & friends. Our hearts are full...

Thank you for traveling along....
