We started out our winter in the Pacific Northwest with a snowfall at our home over the course of 4 days with 15 inches of snow. Later in the winter, the snow stayed in the mountains, thank goodness. It was a great year for skiing and John was Nordic Director this year for the Volunteer Ski Patrol he so enjoys and also keeps him in shape.
I have been busy with photo projects and decided to finish scanning the box of slides from my Mom & Dad. Scanning is only the beginning because then there is labeling each picture for future generations. It has been a labor of love and can't wait to share them with my brothers, sisters and family.
The sign of spring with the bursting of green from the ground and the beautiful flowering trees makes us realize that spring & boating season is around the corner.
