Happy 4th of July

Happy Birthday Grandma

We have had a great time in Lake Washington the last few days. With the temperatures and weather being perfect, John and I have seen more skin than we have seen in a long time. It is skimpy bathing suit weather. Jerry & Gladys joined us for dinner at Anthony's Saturday night. It was nice to see them and catch up.

We anchored in the south end of Lake Union this morning along with many other boats to await the gorgious Fireworks tonight. Gas Works park is full of people. The barge of fireworks is in place at the north end of Lake Union.

We are sitting in the cockpit of Omega with the Seattle skyline and Space Needle in the background.

Steve, Judy & friends aboard Code Blue plan on rafting to the Omega around 6pm this evening to also enjoy the fireworks. We had a wonderful halibut dinner aboard Code Blue last evening while moored in their marina.

It is a beautiful sunshine blue sky kind of day with temperature in the 70's and a light breeze. Many smaller sailboats are having a great time and it is just a great day to be on the water..
